I help individuals and couples navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, men's issues, high achievers, and relationship conflict using Internal Family Systems (IFS) and psychodynamics. Together, we draw on your strengths and values to work through stuck patterns and relationships and create lasting change. Clients can expect greater self-awareness, emotional growth, and stronger self-leadership.
Hi, I’m Monty.
I’m the type of therapist who believes you don’t have to keep living stuck in the same emotions and relationship cycles, even when others have rejected, hurt, or let you down in the past.
My clients tell me that I help them slow things down and
make sense of patterns they can see but can’t seem to change. Over time, I help them to feel more steady in themselves, less reactive in difficult moments, and more able to respond with compassion and choice in their relationships.
Many people I work with are thoughtful, self-aware, and trying hard to get things right in their relationships. They come in finding themselves shutting down, getting reactive, overthinking, people-pleasing, or pulling away when things feel overwhelming. They are tired of feeling exhausted, like either too much or not enough, and wonder why connection and change feel so hard to hold onto.
I work with individuals and couples who want things to feel different in their relationships and in how they relate to themselves.
All people are welcome in my practice. I have supported LGBTQ+ clients, couples navigating disconnection and conflict, and individuals working through the impact of childhood, relational, religious, and sexual traumas to change how they relate to themselves and others.
On a personal note…
My work is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a model that has deeply shaped how I understand people and change. What matters most to me is not just insight, but the felt experience of change in how you relate to yourself and the people in your life.
