Hi, I’m Monty.
I'm the kind of therapist who believes that no one (or no relationship!) is broken, even when you have parts of yourself that feel stuck, ashamed, exhausted, or overwhelmed. These parts are trying to help you. And when you learn to listen to them with curiosity instead of judgment, everything starts to shift.
My clients tell me they come in feeling like they're looking for change, tired of holding it all together, and wondering what to do with patterns they can see but can’t seem to change. They leave feeling more steady in themselves, less reactive in difficult moments, and more able to respond with compassion and choice in their relationships.
Many people I work with are insightful, self-aware, and trying hard to get things right in their lives. They come in finding themselves shutting down, getting reactive, overthinking, people-pleasing, or pulling away when things feel overwhelming. They are tired of feeling exhausted, like either too much or not enough, and wonder why connection and change feel so hard to hold onto.
I work with individuals and couples who want things to be different in their lives, relationships, and how they relate to themselves.
All people are welcome in my practice. I have supported LGBTQ+ clients, couples navigating conflict and life transitions, and individuals exhausted by the anxious engine that seems to run their life. I especially love working with people who are ready to go beneath the surface and understand themselves and their world.
On a personal note…
I didn't start my career as a therapist. I spent over a decade as a senior executive in sales and strategy, leading teams, driving growth, and learning what ambition can cost you when you're not paying attention to what's happening underneath. Therapy changed that for me. It made me a better father, a better partner, and led me to become the person I always wanted to be.
You are welcome here, whoever you are and whatever you're carrying. I work with people from all walks of life who are ready to do real, meaningful work. If that's you, let's talk.
